About
Cape Coral Marine Electronics was founded by John Murch; a life long boater who grew up fishing, sailing, waterskiing and crabbing on the Chesapeake Bay. John enjoyed his time on the water so much he moved to Florida to take advantage of the year-round boating. These days, he enjoys exploring the beautiful waters around Cape Coral and Sanibel with his family as well as fishing, tubing and racing sailboats when time allows.
Experience
John started in the marine industry 25 years ago, first managing retail stores for BoatUS, West Marine and Defender. Then he started focusing on marine electronics at Suncoast Marine Electronics, Raymarine and ACR. For the past 14 years, John was the Senior Marine Trainer at Garmin and worked closely with installers all around the country. And even though he has a face made for radio, you may have spotted him starring in a few videos for Garmin....

Certifications
John has been certified by the National Marine Electronics Association with both Marine Electronics Installation and NMEA 2000 Certifications. In addition, he has been certified by the American Boat and Yacht Council as a Certified Marine Electrical Technician. So you can be sure any work will be done to the highest standards in the industry. Cape Coral Marine Electronics is authorized to handle warranty claims from most marine manufacturers including Garmin, Raymarine, Fusion, Simrad and more.
